The Gunnedah Bicentennial Creative Arts Gallery consists of two galleries housed within Gunnedah’s bustling cultural precinct. The front gallery displays the works of local and regional artists. This gallery is curated by volunteer members of the local Art committee ‘Arts Gunnedah’. The gallery is open 7 days a week but is manned Friday to Sunday from 10am till 4pm.
The large back gallery boasts a regularly changing display of artworks by visiting, local and emerging artists, local art competitions and exhibitions such including the NAIDOC week, International Women’s Day, Waste into Art and is the home of the Annual Arts and Ceramics Exhibition.
The Gunnedah Bicentennial Creative Arts Gallery Gallery houses over 90 artworks belonging to the Gunnedah Town Collection. There are community art projects on permanent exhibition including the Water Mural Project and the Red River Gum.
